A familiar object. A surprisingly tricky date.

    A moment in time.
    A place in the world.

Choose a day, then guess when and where its five familiar objects began.

    1. Find the year. Drag the ruler, use the −/+ buttons, or type a year.
    2. Drop a pin. Tap the map. Zoom for precision, or choose a country to place an approximate pin. With the map focused, arrow keys move your pin; hold Shift for larger moves.
    3. Make your guess. Watch the globe travel to the answer, then the timeline reveal the year. Your round score counts up after both answers appear.

Guess the first production year of the original model and the city where it was made or developed. The pin represents a city, not an exact workshop address.

    How scoring works

Year: 1,000 for exact, 950 one year away, 750 five years away, 500 ten years away, 200 twenty years away, and 0 at forty years. Scores between these values are proportional.

    Place: 1,000 within 25 km, 900 at 250 km, 700 at 1,000 km, 400 at 3,000 km, 100 at 8,000 km, and 0 at 15,000 km. Up to 2,000 per object and 10,000 overall.
